The Magic of a Physical Wedding Album - From Digital to Tangible

Let’s Talk About Wedding Albums

In today’s digital age it’s easy to store everything on our devices. Sure, our phones, computers, “the Cloud” are all super convenient but I promise you, it’s a whole other experience to physically hold those memories in your hands. I highly encourage couples to invest in a physical wedding album full of all the priceless memories you’ll cherish forever. Not just for you but for loved ones to enjoy when they visit—and for future generations to come!

I get so giddy whenever I see my pictures printed! Your wedding day may be everything in your world right now but try to think about 5, 10, 20 years down the road when you want to look back on these photos from all those years ago. Life can really feel like it’s really flying by sometimes. It’s nice to have those milestone moments intentionally documented and easily accessible.

I have searched high and low for the best wedding album company to have on my team when creating your wedding albums and landed on White House Custom Color. I have been with them for over a decade now and they do not disappoint! Their top-of-the-line printers showcase your photos as intended so that you receive an album with vivid colors and accurate skin tones. They use premium materials like authentic Italian leather, vegan leatherette covers, high-quality linen, and durable lay-flat pages so you don’t have that awkward fold in the middle taking away from your viewing experience.

Their albums are exceptionally crafted with an eye for luxury and longevity. Offering a wide range of cover materials, colors, embossing, and paper finishes (like matte, luster, or deep matte), their design flexibility gives us plenty of options to create a wedding album that’s completely personalized.

Bonus; they strive to neutralize their carbon footprint by offering sustainable print options, operating predominantly through solar power, and participating in recycling programs. You know how much I love to support an environmentally conscious company! ^_^

My Step-by-Step Process for Ordering Your Custom Wedding Album

I like to provide my couples with two options. Some of you genuinely enjoy the DIY route and being able to modify and customizing each part on their own, but some couples just want to get a wedding album in their hands ASAP! DIYers can utilize the services on my gallery hosting website which is pretty straight forward and still goes through the same album printing company. And if you just want it done or wouldn’t enjoy the process of designing your own, here’s my step-by-step process for ordering your customized wedding album through me:

Step 1 - After receiving your online wedding gallery link, select about 100-150 of your very favorites. Anything that makes you think “this HAS to be in my wedding album!” I can also provide a template to help you narrow things down. We’ll choose the ones that tell the overall story of your day. Or leave it all up to me! – we can modify my selection later too.

Step 2 - I’ll create a minimalist cohesive design for you to look over and adjust as many times as you’d like.

Step 3 - Once the rough draft of your wedding album is finished, I’ll provide you with a link to view your future album virtually to get a good feel for what it’ll actually look like in real life.

Step 4 - We’ll make any changes to the inside pages as you’d like until it’s absolutely perfect.

Step 5 - I’ll send a questionnaire to narrow down the type of cover and material you would like it to be handcrafted with.

Step 6 - Confirmation and Ordering! You can expect your gorgeous wedding album to arrive on your doorstep less than 3 weeks after approval. I’ll be so geeked for you to receive it so make sure to let me know how much you love it! ^_^
